Grand Temel Hotel

The staff were fantastic: friendly, professional, and very helpful. Being able to communicate in both English and French made everything feel easier and more welcoming. I arrived on May 27, 2026, and had a very positive stay overall. Room 407 was clean, comfortable, and fantastic for the price, which I found very reasonable. The hotel seemed well maintained, and I was glad not to find any bugs. When I arrived, I spotted a broken toilet seat and told the front desk. They arranged a prompt repair, which I appreciated. The shower hardware looked broken and was mounted too low, so showering wasn't as comfortable as it could have been. I also would have preferred pillows that were softer and fuller. It would help if maintenance staff inspected rooms more consistently before check-in, so bathroom problems could be dealt with ahead of time. Clearer signs for smoking and non-smoking rooms, plus designated outdoor smoking areas, would also improve the guest experience in the hotel industry generally. Despite those minor maintenance and comfort issues, I enjoyed my stay and felt it was good value for the price.
