Historial Hotel

We chose this hotel because it was inexpensive, but there’s room for improvement. The room had no table, and although staff came in every day, they only cleaned if we gave them 5 TL. There was always water in the bathroom, so I guess something was broken. The small breakfast was fine, but I didn’t like the dirty forks and broken plates.

The central location was the only good part of our stay. We booked because we expected a working elevator, but it was broken, so we had to climb to the sixth floor for breakfast. The kitchen floor was embarrassingly dirty. I struggled to eat there, but my friend didn’t seem as bothered, so I adapted and didn’t make a fuss. There was also a leak in our mini apartment, and the humidity made it hard to sleep. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The rooms are in as poor a state as the building. Door frames are coming loose, and the bathrooms have no locks or doorknobs. In a double room, the second room has no air conditioning. Very disappointing. I’d give it zero stars.

The hotel was very, very bad. It was dirty, the staff were bad, and the pictures were not true to what I found. I’d paid the full amount and hadn’t cancelled my reservation, but when I came to spend a day with my friend, they gave the room to other people.
