Inter Sport Hotel

The breakfast had plenty for everyone, and getting around was easy: many sights are walkable and the tram stop is almost at the door. Everything was clean, and the reception and housekeeping staff were both friendly and helpful. We were very satisfied and will definitely come back.

The breakfast was poor and barely changed, and some items were old, including fruit, with some of it bruised. Outside the hotel there was a huge pile of garbage right in front. The fridge didn’t work and was empty. In the room, the window faced a wall, the space was very small, and it wasn’t very clean. There was also a bad, stale smell as soon as you walked in. Most of the workers didn’t treat tourists well. They gave us only one room key card, so if I was asleep my husband had to wait until I opened the door. Very bad service.

We had a very good eight-day stay, with an excellent location between two Tram Line 1 stops and only a few steps from the Egyptian Bazaar. The welcome was warm, and the staff stayed pleasant, attentive, and friendly throughout. Our room was a little small, but fine since we only used it for sleeping. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bedding was good quality. Breakfast was excellent and offered lots of choice. The one bad part was the spa reception employee, who was Tunisian. She was quite unpleasant, tried to charge us for the hammam even though it was included in the hotel services, and discouraged us from using the facilities by saying the pool was very cold and we wouldn’t be able to swim. That felt unnecessary and unprofessional. Still, the hotel itself is very good, and I’d recommend it for the location, cleanliness, and service.

We came as a family on holiday, but the reception guy completely ruined the trip. We had paid for two deluxe rooms and were given standard rooms instead. Even after we showed our reservation, they refused to change them, so we had to cancel.
