Lebon Hotel Old City

We parked right in front of the hotel on a quiet, uncrowded street, and the train station was close enough to use for places farther away. The hotel is within a few minutes’ walk of most famous landmarks. Rooms were tidy, with daily cleaning. Breakfast was average but tasty. Being near the railway means you can feel a train passing, though it’s not terrible and doesn’t happen often. Highly recommended if you want to spend less for a perfect location.

The owner went out of his way when our airline lost our luggage. He stayed up until the early hours waiting for the delivery and made sure our bags got back as quickly as possible. We couldn’t be more thankful for his hospitality. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast tasty, and the staff amazing. It’s a really lovely hotel close to all the big attractions. We’d 100% stay here again when visiting Istanbul.

We liked our stay at the Lebon hotel from January 7-11. It’s in a perfect spot, a 6-7 minute walk from the Blue Mosque and 5-6 minutes from the shore. You can also find and book it through Airbnb. Our host, Serkan, was welcoming, supportive and a great help, with excellent restaurant and sightseeing recommendations and directions. The rooms were warm and cozy, with the basics covered. The shower was clean and had a hairdryer, shampoo, shower gel and soap. Towels and the trash bin were changed daily.

Compared with the other hotels in the area, this one is very nice and well priced for the services. The room was clean, and the owner was very helpful, offering to assist with anything. He even gave our friends a free parking space, although they weren’t staying at his hotel. If you come by car, you’ll have a parking spot. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul.
