Osmanhan feels like a peaceful retreat in a busy district. It’s near major landmarks and mosques, and my upper-floor room was quiet with lovely views. There’s plenty of seating in the top-floor breakfast area, both inside and outside, whatever the weather. The hotel is cared for down to the details, especially the cleanliness. Breakfast was freshly made, with daily specials, and Mrs. Sevda cooked with warmth and skill. The thing that stayed with me most was how kindly the staff treated each other as well as the guests. Sevda, Ramziye from housekeeping, and Mehdi and Nuri at the front desk were all helpful and warm hearted. They’re the people who’d make me choose Osmanhan again over anywhere else in the city. I hope they stay well and safe until I can return to Istanbul, God willing.

The rooms have enough space, though North American visitors might find them a little small. The location is extremely close to the sights around Sultanahmet and Fatih, and the staff were all pleasant and helpful. We stayed at Osmanhan for 3 nights and enjoyed it. The rooftop patio and friendly team more than made up for any shortcomings. I’d recommend it to others visiting the area.

The only thing that might be a downside is that the building has no elevator. The staff handled all our luggage, so we barely noticed. My spouse and I spent about two weeks at this small, lovely hotel and enjoyed it from the bottom of our hearts. Everyone, from breakfast service to reception and housekeeping, provided high quality service and made the atmosphere feel warm and welcoming. For the price, quality, location, and service, it’s a very suitable choice. I’d gladly choose it again on my next trip to Istanbul. Thanks for a wonderful memory!

The stairs are narrow, and there’s no elevator, which could be difficult for some guests. The room facilities were fine, and breakfast was decent, though nothing special. Osmanhan Hotel is a good choice if location is your priority, and I had a pleasant stay while exploring Istanbul.

We liked this cozy little place and would stay there again. Osmanhan Hotel is well placed for visiting nearby landmarks, and the terrace has a great view. Breakfast was included and nice. The desk clerks were friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a smile, which made us feel welcome.
