Seyri Istanbul Hotel

We were there for 7 days on vacation. The rooms were clean and quiet, and breakfast was really tasty and healthy. The staff welcomed us warmly and were very friendly, especially the older boss, who I want to thank. It’s close to the main road, transport, and the Grand Bazaar. The only drawback was having no elevator, which made getting up to the second and third floors a bit difficult. I liked the hotel and recommend it 💗.

I ended up here because the hotel I’d booked couldn’t accommodate me. I found mussels on the bathroom shelf, and the manager treated me like I was a burden. The sheets smelled as if I wasn’t the first person to sleep in them.

We needed rooms at very short notice and got two. They were mostly clean, though by the second day there were lots of ants, and one bathroom smelled really bad. For the money, though, the quality was good overall.

In Istanbul, booking and paying in advance doesn’t always mean you’ll actually stay at that hotel. The least you’d expect is for a room to be held for you, but this hotel takes your money without guaranteeing you a room.
