I slept really well, and the room was comfortable and spacious, with the amenities nicely done. The hotel staff were friendly and efficient. Sur Istanbul Hotel gave me my best experience, and I highly recommend it. Thanks so much for making the trip memorable.

*** Honeymoon Hotel Disaster*** We booked 9 nights for our honeymoon because of the location, but found mold, mosquitoes, and bugs in the room. We left and went to another hotel. We’re still disputing what we consider unfair charges with the hotel. The customer service was the worst, and so were the hotel and the whole experience. Stay away.

The service was terrible, and the place felt cramped and crowded. The furniture was old too. One of the worst experiences of my life.

The location is right in the middle of the tourist area, yet the street stays quiet, apart from the calls to prayer. I loved the terrace overlooking the sea, and the view from the veranda at night, with the bridges and ships lit up. You can even make your own dinner there. Breakfasts are served individually and were excellent, with plenty of tea. The hotel has just been renovated, the bed linens were crisp, and the room had everything I needed. The staff were friendly and took care of everything. I'd happily come back.

It's on a very quiet street, and the location is great. If you need something, it's best to contact the owner directly. The hotel next door has someone on staff who speaks Russian and can translate for the owner.
