The Peraport Hotel

Affordable and really good for the price. The rooms were clean and well kept, and the hotel is close to the metro, seaside, and Galata Tower. The desk staff were amazing and helped us as much as they could.

We spent four nights at The Peraport Hotel in Istanbul and were really disappointed by how the airport transfer was handled. We clearly told the staff which airport we needed and paid 40€ in cash. The taxi they sent took us to the wrong airport, almost an hour from the right one. We then had to spend another 120€ to reach the correct airport in time for our flight. The hotel still hasn’t returned the original 40€, and they’ve ignored our calls and messages about it. We left upset with the reception staff and the hotel’s response. In our view, this was completely dishonest, and future guests should know.

Javidan was a great host, always kind, respectful, and ready to help or ask how to make the place better. Osama and Elman greeted me with big smiles, checked if I needed anything, lent me an umbrella, and offered coffee and tea for free. They were all interesting and entertaining as well as respectful, and made me feel at home instead of like a stranger. A big thank you to the staff. I really appreciated it. My room was cosy and nice, and the cleaning was done every day. After wandering around the city, it felt so good to come back to a made bed and a room that smelled clean and felt comfortable. It was much cheaper than other places in the area. The location was super, about a 3-minute walk from Galata Tower and 5-10 minutes on foot from the tram station, which gets you to Sultanahmet in 10-15 minutes. It was my first time in Istanbul, and I couldn’t have found a better place. If I return, I know where I’ll stay.

We felt so welcome at Peraport Hotel. Everyone there was kind and ready to help, and I wish we'd had longer to enjoy the beautiful place and get to know them. Thanks, Peraport Hotel. We hope to return soon.
