Villa Blanche Hotel

After a long day, the atmosphere was great for relaxing. The room was comfortable and clean, and the team stayed friendly and helpful throughout. I had an issue with the room, but they sorted it out after I brought it to their attention. Breakfast had a nice variety and was good. A pleasant stay in Istanbul, and I'd come back.

The rooms were larger than I expected, and the staff were really kind and friendly. It's a nice, clean, cosy boutique hotel with a pool, breakfast, and good spots to hang out inside. The location is pretty good, with short walks to places around Besiktas. For the price, it's good value compared with nearby hotels. There are no lifts, and parking is very difficult to find.

The staff were all super friendly and couldn't do enough for us. This family-run boutique hotel has lots of atmosphere. It could use a bit of cosmetic work, but we loved its quaintness. I stayed here with my daughter while she was having an operation at the nearby Clinic. The location was perfect for that, just two buildings from Istanbul Aesthetic Clinic. If you're mainly here to sight-see, it's a bit far out, across the river from the mosques and the Grand Bazaar.

The location was the only reason I gave it one star. It's close to the metro, but we found better nearby places for the rest of our stay for less money. We were glad we'd only booked one night. Don't trust the stars or the 5 star reviews. This felt more like a motel, and wasn't worth the price. Our room was on the 2nd floor with no lift, even though the services said there was an elevator. With two big suitcases and a carry-on, that would've been a nightmare, especially in summer. Reception wasn't helpful either. The air-conditioning didn't work, and it was so hot at night that we couldn't sleep properly. The whole experience was unpleasant. I wouldn't recommend it.
