London House Hotel

Kemer was a fabulous place for our 10-day holiday, and this family-run B&B made a handy base for trips around the area. Locals were friendly and helpful. On Thursdays there was a clothes market, and on Mondays a fruit market. Carrefour and Sok were useful for basic groceries; there were also plenty of local bars and restaurants, plus Starbucks and McDonald's by the beach. The location is central, within walking distance of the beach, shops, restaurants, and bus station. There was a lovely cool pool, much appreciated in mid-August, a fresh breakfast, and tea, coffee, and water available all day. The room had a fridge, and the free Wi-Fi was excellent. Food delivery was available too. We got a free airport transfer through Booking.com because our booking was above a certain price. Expect a basic room. Staff help when asked, though the place has more of a do-it-yourself B&B feel. The small pool wasn't working, and some maintenance issues were apparent. I can imagine upkeep is expensive with the Turkish economy in a difficult state. The price was excellent.

The staff were helpful and the central location was convenient. I was only there for a couple of days, so the issues didn't bother me too much, especially given the low price, but a few fixes are needed. The air conditioner didn't work, and there were no mosquito screens on the windows. At least one window needs a screen.

The rooms were clean, though very dated, and both the pools and the outdoor lounging space were pleasant. Shops, the town center, and the beach were all within walking distance. Staff were great and helpful, and for what it cost, I had a good stay.

Glad the room had AC, but I wouldn't pay that price again. The room had been fixed up really badly, and the staff were only okay at times. I went to reception with questions in the morning and found someone asleep on the sofa. The place had no atmosphere.
