The best part of the stay was the food, and one of the busboys outside learned our usual drinks and brought them as soon as he saw us sit down. The hotel stay was okay overall, but it didn't feel like five-star service. My girlfriend and I had a good five days, and at check-in they upgraded our basic room for free to an ocean-view room with a balcony jacuzzi. The view was good, but the main door was unstable and stuck. It took a hard push to open and pull to close quietly; otherwise it slammed loudly enough to bother the neighbors. There was a sewage-like smell from the sink and shower drains. The jacuzzi's inner light didn't work and the air jet adjuster was stuck on its lowest setting, so it felt more like a very soft stream than a proper jacuzzi. Seat saving was a daily problem. During breakfast around 08:45, we looked down and saw towels on almost every main-pool lounger, with nobody in the pool. Signs clearly said not to reserve seats, but the rule wasn't enforced. One morning towels were already claiming loungers at the 18+ and main pools at 06:30. The main dishes were flavorful and delicious, but the desserts looked much better than they tasted, with almost no flavor and a dry texture. At the beach, which is fully shaded overhead and divided into sections by hotel, we booked parasailing for €88 for two and a speedboat tour for €60 for two. Parasailing was fun and the service was alright, but afterwards they pushed hard for the €200 photo package with drone footage. I asked for five pictures at €60; after choosing them, they offered all the photos by AirDrop for €70, which I accepted. They didn't like card payments and preferred cash. I returned with cash as requested, but the slip said €75 instead. When I pointed out someone else had quoted €70, the man said nothing, took the money, and waved me off. The next day we took the one-hour speedboat trip, which was the better value. It stopped at an ancient temple, a sea turtle spotting area where we saw none, and a place to swim in the open sea. You can use your own phone for photos, though they have some drone footage as you leave. They pushed us to buy it, and looked visibly upset when we declined. If you pay by card, check the conversion carefully because they'll charge in Turkish Lira and may show a figure on a calculator. The difference can be a way they try to scam people.
