Güllü Konakları

The garden and view were lovely, and the room and dinner were fine, though our food took a long time to arrive. We didn’t end up staying the night. The reception lady’s rudeness during check-in really spoiled our mood. She first welcomed us in the upstairs waiting room, then went down to the reception office to finish things. While my wife was taking photos and videos near the entrance, I went into the office thinking I was helping move the process along. She sharply asked what I was doing there and told me to wait upstairs. About 15-20 minutes later, when we came down from our room, she was receiving other guests in the reception room. I was taken aback by how she treated me. I’m glad we didn’t stay, because otherwise it would have been a very bad experience. I’ve never been treated like that anywhere else in the world.

The rooms have a lovely vintage feel and plenty of space, and the gardens are beautiful. This 19th century mansion sits in an olive grove with wonderful views over the village. Breakfast was delicious and traditional, and the staff were so kind and helpful. I’ll definitely come back 🙏

We had two dinners here and I’d recommend them. The breakfasts were the best we’ve had in Turkey. We loved the whole place, from the lovely hosts and thoughtful details to the welcome tea and stunning views. It’s a perfect spot to unwind on the terrace with the cats.

The peaceful location is still right in the center, and the views are spectacular. The staff made us feel at home with their kindness and warm welcome. We enjoyed plentiful, delicious breakfasts with fresh local flavors. Staying at Güllü Konakları Şirince felt like stepping back in time while still having today’s comfort and luxury. We left with lovely memories, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a magical getaway in Şirince.
