The homemade rum & raisin ice cream was so good, and both meals we had here, dinner and breakfast, were lovely. Saanjaay and the staff made us feel very welcome. We only ate at the restaurant twice and didn’t stay at the hotel, though the seaside setting looked like a beautiful place to stay. It’s nice that this is a family-run business, too.

The view is stunning, and the food is great. The former owners have returned after the place spent some months under different ownership, and it’s amazing again. Great location, too.

The water was calm and lovely, and the beach felt really peaceful.

We were quoted $300 more than the advertised price when it was time to pay, which was ridiculous. The customer service had already been rude and hostile, so the nice view and being close to the beach didn’t make up for it. I’m glad we left instead of going along with what seemed like scamming, though driving back home at 10pm was a bad end to the night. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend it.

The beach was lovely, but I wouldn’t stay here. We had no water at one point, and the chef was off on the days we were there. The place has seen better days. On top of that, the price changed several times and the bill at checkout came as a shock, 50% more than I expected. I’ve travelled all over the world and stayed in budget places, but I’ve never been treated this badly. Better to stay somewhere else and visit for the day.
