The location is super convenient, with the night market street right downstairs, and it’s our favorite night market street in Taiwan. The hotel has no nice view and can be a bit noisy at night, but we still loved it and would stay again if we return to Taichung. Getting there at check-in time in the evening was difficult because the street was packed and cars couldn’t get in. Check-in itself went smoothly, and the staff were friendly. There was no outlet for my usual plug, but reception lent me an adapter. I liked the room design; the hotel seems pretty new, so everything looked new and clean. There wasn’t space to hang clothes. Breakfast was free, simple but quite filling.

Right in the middle of Fengchia Night Market, the room was amazingly priced and still quiet inside. Staff were welcoming and friendly, and the front desk is open 24 hours. The room was clean and tidy, with even a Japanese bidet toilet seat. I’d definitely stay here again.

You’re right inside the night market, so keep its hours in mind when planning your check-in. I gave it four stars because the lift smells badly of mold.

A short walk gets you to all the food and shopping near Fengchia Night Market, but the hotel is quiet enough to sleep well. The rooms are cozy and modern, with clean spaces, comfortable beds, and what you need for a pleasant stay. Staff were helpful and friendly. A great place to stay in Taichung if you want convenience and comfort.

We stayed in a roomy, clean triple room, and the soundproofing kept the busy street noise out. The main hassle was squeezing through the crowd to get back to the hotel. After we checked out, the hotel contacted us to say we’d left an earpiece behind. Great service.
