CHECK inn Select Taipei Nangang

Free parking, a good location, low prices, and friendly enough service staff were the positives. Thanks to Alice for being welcoming and friendly. But we asked for extra pillows one night and were told we'd have to pay, because the pillows would count as an additional occupant. I'd never heard that from a hotel. The most they offered was a light blanket. Maintenance was lacking throughout. Our room was poorly lit, especially since it faced the inside of the building with no street view. The bathroom had lots of mold on the walls and ceiling, the WiFi was slow, and the hall carpets were very dirty and stained. The walls were scraped and dented too. I'm not sure why the hotel has so many high ratings. We had a similar experience at the other Check Inn in Neihu, and wouldn't stay again.

The room was clean and nice, and I was glad to have both a bathtub and a toilet bidet. I stayed for 3 nights, and there were 2 convenience stores very close by. It was a great stay.

The front desk lady was nice, but the room and the rest of the hotel didn't meet the standard for the price, and I wouldn't recommend it. I'm not sure how this is rated as a 4 stars hotel. Walls had marks and stains everywhere, the carpet was filthy and torn, the room smelled moldy, and there were odd yellow buildups around the shower edges. There was no central light, so the room was very dark, and the light was flickering when we checked in. There are no facilities like washing machines, and it's quite far from the MRT station. There's hardly anything nearby apart from a family mart.

Check In Hotel in Taipei Nangang felt like home, and I couldn't have asked for a better stay. The rooms were modern, spotless, and comfortable, with everything in great condition from the bed to the bathroom. The shower and whole room were beautifully maintained, which put me at ease. I'll definitely return if I visit Taipei again. Highly recommend, and thank you!
