Dandy Hotel Daan Park Branch

Travelling with two young kids can be tricky, but this place made it feel easy and welcoming. There’s a free laundry room, family-friendly breakfast, animal toys and balloons, a snack bar, and clean toilets. Victoria and her team took great care of us, and she was genuinely warm. We picked the hotel for its location. It’s a stone’s throw from a well-connected MRT line, with two convenience stalls and a delicious breakfast spot across the small lane. Yong Kang street was also an easy walk away. The stay felt like a sanctuary and exceeded what I expected. We’ll definitely come back.

For this price range, I couldn’t ask for more. Ken was so friendly when we checked in. We only found out on our last day that he was a trainee, which says a lot about the service. His and the rest of the hotel team’s personalities made the stay memorable. The location is superb, the customer service is wonderful, and the hotel had a great feel overall. I’d recommend it and stay again on my next Taiwan trip.

We had a small room, but it was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty, with Taiwanese and Western food, plus desserts, fruit, and salad. The hotel cleaned the room daily, and the free self-service laundry had no time restrictions, which was great for my family on a long holiday. Overall, a very good hotel at a reasonable price.

On my first visit to Taipei, I found this Dandy Hotel at Daan Park on Google Maps and was very happy with my reservation. After 24 hours of travel, the courteous, efficient staff got us checked in and into our room in under 10 minutes, even late at night. The complimentary breakfast was surprisingly delicious. I chose vegetarian options, though eggs and meat were available too. The coffee, tea, and soy milk were good. The lobby also has hot water, tea, coffee, crackers, and ramen for anyone arriving late.
