The location is handy, within a 10 minute walk from Shilin Station. That’s about the only good thing I can say. It’s the worst place I’ve had the misfortune to stay, including some dodgy places in China. There were no staff on site at check-in, only a QR code telling us to contact them on Line for the lock code. It took my wife 30 mins to get through to them on a Friday afternoon, and the first passcode they sent was wrong. Getting up to the second floor with suitcases looked like a steep climb, though thankfully our room was on the first floor. The room itself was tiny, with the toilet sink right there, as the second picture shows. The sheets were in bad shape too, as in the third picture. On the second day, the password for the main gate and room door had changed, but nobody had told us. The housekeeper opened the main door for us and didn’t know the PIN had changed either, so we were stuck in the corridor again for nothing. Stay FAR FAR away. I wish Google let me give this place a negative score.

It’s close to the MRT station, but I can’t think of any other advantages. The old air conditioner keeps making strange noises, and I can hear its engine starting up off and on. The soundproofing is so poor I could hear another resident singing when he got home at 4:30. The place smells damp, and I had an allergic reaction over my whole body. I’ll never come back.

What a disaster! The location was hard to spot, cleaning was terrible, the TV and hairdryer were both broken, and the room was cramped. Service was basically remote messages, with no actual help provided. Hahaha, 💥

For a place styled like a nightclub, this gets a 6-star review. First there was the nonstop water pump, then an awful old AC rattling away. Around 6-7 pm, you could hear workers setting things up and guests checking out. Surely I’m not the only one who knows this.
