Finders Hotel-Fu Qian

Free lobby snacks and cup noodles were a nice extra, and the laundry was easy to use without long waits. You share the lifts with other businesses in the building, but the wait wasn’t too bad. Getting around Taipei was effortless from here, with food and shopping nearby and easy access to several MRT stations. There’s a clear drop-off point too. Our room was clean and comfortable, the bed felt good, and housekeeping kept things up throughout. Friendly, polite staff made the stay even nicer.

The bed was the worst part. The mattress felt like a box spring, and after four nights I had severe back pain. I really wish they’d replace it. The room was tiny, with the bed basically right beside the toilet, and it smelled moldy, though maybe that’s common in Taipei’s humidity. The shower pressure was very strong, which was good. Breakfast was mediocre, nothing special, but convenient if you can get it at a good price. Service was great, and the staff were friendly and accommodating when I asked for an extra blanket. I understand there may not have been anything else they could do to help, but the bed matters most to me in a hotel. Sadly, I wouldn’t stay again unless the mattresses change. 2/5 stars overall.

Finders Hotel was a great place to stay for my three nights in Taipei. The room was clean and a good size, breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s ideally placed for exploring, close to Taipei Main Station. A little tricky to find at first, but the taxi driver was very helpful. I really enjoyed it and will stay again.

The best part of our anniversary stay was arriving to find the room decorated to celebrate it. My partner and I really appreciated that welcome. Finders’ staff were amazing too, helping with extra pillows, a fresh towel, changing coins for the washer and dryer twice, and making reservations by phone at reception. We stayed five nights and enjoyed it a lot. It’s fairly convenient, between the red and blue/green lines. Thanks, Finders Hotel!
