The rooms, staff, and location were all very good, but the food options let the hotel down. We stayed for a week, and breakfast never changed. As a vegetarian, I had very little to choose from. The only vegetable option was cooked cabbage, every day for the whole week. We also tried to see what else was available for dinner. One Monday we were told the dining options were closed. Another night they said it was closed for a private party, though the room was otherwise empty with just one table set up. A hotel of this quality should offer the dining choices it advertises and a breakfast people can look forward to seeing change.

For my first trip to Taiwan, I stayed here for pride and got a Deluxe Twin Room. I’ve never had a better hotel stay in my 30 years. The room was spacious, especially around the toilet, and really clean. It had both a shower and a bathtub, plus a Dyson hairdryer. The pillows were comfy too, unlike the thin ones you get at a lot of hotels. The staff were super nice and the service was 10/10. Right outside there’s a family mart, and Songshan Cultural Park is close by and worth checking out. The nearest MRT station is Sun Yat Sen. Highly recommend this place for Taipei.

We’d happily stay at Eslite again on our next Taipei visit. The hotel is near a mall, a park, and lots of restaurants. Our room was spacious, new, and clean, and we really appreciated the free mini bar and complimentary fruit. It was our first time in Taipei, and we had a lovely stay.

Having our own car, we were glad there was secure underground parking. It was easy to get onto the main roads for day trips, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The staff were welcoming and professional, and check-in and check-out went smoothly. Breakfast was a highlight, with lots of fresh Western and Asian choices in a calm, elegant room. We spent six nights at Eslite Hotel Taipei and would give it five stars. Our room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed, with floor-to-ceiling windows looking out over Taipei. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and housekeeping kept the room fresh throughout our stay. The hotel has a quiet, comfortable elegance that made it a great base for exploring Taipei and beyond. Everything felt thoughtfully handled, and the service was consistently excellent. We left feeling refreshed and keen to return.

I spent a week at Eslite in Jan 2026. The room was roomy and tidy, with a supportive team looking after it. A few really good restaurants are just a five-minute walk away. I’d choose this over Metropolitan/ Madison and highly recommend it.
