Unforgettable! Thank you, Julia and team, for an extraordinary experience! This place redefines “barefoot luxury” in the most genuine way. From the moment we arrived, Julia and her team made us feel more like friends than guests, welcoming us into a warm, homelike atmosphere that’s rare to find. Julia’s commitment to her guests and the local community shines through, with every member of the staff coming from the nearby village, which adds a wonderful, authentic touch to the experience. Staying here feels like visiting your best friend’s beach house rather than a typical hotel. The five stars

Absolutely loved my visit to Hodi Hodi in Matamwe! Julia, the owner, truly goes above and beyond for her guests - every little detail is thoughtfully taken care of. This beautiful boutique hotel right on the beach has such a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. If you can, visit during a full moon for an incredible experience. As a bonus, their vegetarian and vegan dishes are absolutely delicious! Highly recommend this gem if you're looking for a special getaway with personalized attention.

We had such an amazing experience at Hodi-Hodi, all the staff are so caring and attentive and Julia had taken such good care of us. I love the low carbon footprint that they are striving to achieve to preserve the environment. The food is also fantastic and being able to pop to the sea when ever you want. I highly recommend Hodi-Hodi
