Alex Apartments

My reservation with Alex Apartments was for five nights at a particular address, but the confirmation gave a different street. I contacted Alex right away to ask about it. Alex tried to convince me the two locations were close together and about the same distance from the city center, but the apartment offered instead was lower quality and on one of Kyiv’s busiest streets. When Alex wouldn’t provide the apartment I had booked, I cancelled. Although I never stayed at Alex Apartments, Alex charged my card twice for the cancelled reservation. I disputed both charges with my credit card company, which ruled in my favor and reversed them. I consider Alex Apartments and the staff unethical. Alex uses a “bait and switch” method to book their least desirable apartments. Avoid renting from Alex and Alex Apartments at all costs.
