Excellent Hotel

Really bad experience. The room was very poor, with no shower, charging point, AC or TV. Nobody should book this hotel. They confirmed a rate of $30 per day and asked me to pay in advance each day. I gave them $100 and asked for my change, but they said they didn’t have it then and gave me a receipt for a $100 deposit instead. When I checked out two days later and asked for the balance, they refused to return it. Totally cheating.

The bed was very comfortable and the hotel is great. The junior staff weren’t as welcoming as they could be and need training in handling guests. There was also a water shortage issue. I hope it’s been fixed. I’d still give the place a good rating overall.

Worst hotel. It’s on the fourth floor with no lift, and there’s no parking. The TV didn’t work, there were no charging points in the room, and there was no water from the bathroom shower. The room lighting was very dim, the place was very noisy, and security was poor. The online listing doesn’t match the facilities. I don’t recommend choosing this hotel.

The large rooms and nice beds were a pleasant surprise, and the nights were fairly quiet despite the hotel being in town on Kampala Road. It’s easy to get to plenty of shops from there. The poor signage had us circling around until 4:00 am, though. Otherwise, it was a nice deal for the price.
