The hotel was easy enough to find with sat nav, and the view was lovely. The grounds looked amazing, though we didn't sit outside. It's quirky and welcoming, and in just the right spot for everything I wanted. The staff were all friendly, and the room was clean with lots of nice touches. Breakfast cost £14.95 and was good. Parking was a bit cramped and cost £10 a night, but I managed to get a space. I didn't use the car for 24 hours, so being blocked in was fine. The little paths and tall, steep steps to town could be difficult if walking far is a problem, though a taxi is only £6. I'd definitely stay again.

Breakfast was great. I had the amazing eggs Benedict, my wife had a full English that was just as good, and there's a continental option too. It's a lovely old-fashioned English B&B, kept clean and tidy, and the staff were very friendly. Our room was well presented, with tea, coffee and biscuits, plus a fan and hairdryer. We'd recommend it and stay again.

We were given a room upgrade when we arrived at Oldfields House for our two-night stay, which was a nice surprise. It was clean and spacious, with a pleasant garden view. Everyone on the team was polite and friendly, and the city centre was only a ten-minute walk away. Parking is tight and costs £10 per night, though it didn't cause us any trouble. My only regret is that we didn't try breakfast. Thanks for a great stay!

The lounge was beautiful, the bed was very comfortable, and breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, including for vegetarians. The staff were amazing. If I'm back in Bath, I'll definitely stay here again.

We booked a couple of nights through Luxury Escapes, but check-in was a farce and took nearly an hour. When they finally showed us to the so-called superior room, it was appalling. The bathroom was disgusting and badly overdue for refurbishment, with black mould in the bath grouting and peeling chrome on the fittings. Overall, this felt like a B&B stuck in the distant past for both service and quality, not a hotel. We checked out five minutes after seeing the bath because they couldn't offer us another room.
