Campanile Cardiff

The rooms are a little dated, but they’re clean and warm. We were welcomed by pleasant, helpful staff, who did a lot for us. We’ll be back to this budget friendly hotel in a great location. A big thank you to the team.

Don’t be put off by the dated exterior, we had a really nice stay. The room was clean and pleasant, the beds were comfy, and the receptionist was lovely. We booked at the last minute for a night away, and the price was very reasonable with breakfast included. Expectations weren’t high when we saw the outside, but breakfast was fantastic, freshly made, and there were continental options too.

The hotel’s mid-refurbishment, so a few areas could use paint. From outside it reminds me of an American motel, which might not suit everyone, but I liked it. It’s a great location for a Cardiff visit, with a Lidl 200 yards away, and the hotel itself is only four miles away. The staff are amazing, the food’s delicious, and they’ll try their hardest to make things work for you. Fatima is the real star. She’s incredible, and such a beautiful person. I think I’m falling in love all over again, especially with that pen in her hair and lovely smile. Give the place a go if you’re visiting Cardiff.

Best night’s sleep I’ve had in ages. The room was comfy, breakfast was nice, and the staff were super friendly. WiFi was good, and it’s handy having Lidls nearby. My only gripe was that there were a couple of bins outside.
