It’s a small place with a lovely atmosphere, ideally situated near the theatres and concert hall. We were a large group with different dietary requirements, but the staff were really helpful and sorted everything out. Everyone enjoyed the lovely food, which was presented beautifully.

This is the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Glasgow. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the service was amazing. It’s so central that everywhere is within walking distance. Looking forward to breakfast.

The food is consistently good here, and the chef clearly knows what they’re doing. My wife and I had the Gressinngham duck with leaks, potato and Jus. We also shared a bottle of northern Italy Pinot Grigio. The raspberries and cream were stunning, and we finished with two cappuccinos. The Scottish sweet, raspberry cranachan, was disappointing, though. There was too much cream and not enough oats or whisky taste. I’d have given five stars if the cranachan had hit the mark. The staff were wonderful, and we had a very nice breakfast each morning. Our room was comfortable, and the location was nice, close to the city centre. Loved the welcome dram of whisky! We really enjoyed our two-night stay and would definitely return. Be sure to visit the Piping Museum next door!

We ate at the restaurant, where the portions were huge and the food was delicious. Our twin room was a decent size, with a nice bathroom, finally a single spout on the sink, and lots of hot water. It’s a lovely historic building right downtown, with the car park two blocks away. We’d stay again.
