We’d stay here again before flying from Gatwick. The price was affordable, and the place was clean, including the dining room. The hotel was helpful before our stay when we let them know our check-in and check-out times. The room was quite warm, so having a fan was great. You do have to eat in the dining room, though I understand that our room wasn’t very big.

The bathroom had nowhere to hang a towel or clothes, which was annoying. Otherwise it was clean and warm, with friendly staff. The location is handy for Gatwick, and the bus stop is about a three-minute walk away. I didn’t have breakfast, so I can’t comment on that.

The staff were so helpful, and the breakfast was excellent value. Our room was clean and nice, with hot water and a shower that looked brand new. The price was really reasonable too. Gainsborough Lodge is about twenty minutes from Gatwick Airport by public transport, so it’s a good option if you’re heading to or from the airport. Thanks for the hospitality, Chiragh Bhai. We’ll definitely come back!

The price was great for what we got, and parking was included. Our room was small but had everything we needed, especially that fantastic, incredibly powerful shower. We arrived after midnight and let ourselves in, then checked ourselves out at 10am. The service was hard to fault, though it might’ve been nice to meet someone at reception on arrival or departure. We had breakfast at a nearby cafe, so I can’t rate the hotel breakfast. The location is perfect for Gatwick.

We had an early flight, so staying here was easier than travelling to the airport early from home. The room was tidy and clean, there was no noise, and the staff were friendly. Gatwick Airport is just a short bus ride away, and the stop is very close. We’d definitely stay again.
