Our original hotel had double booked us, so we were moved here at the last minute. Glad we did. Donna met us at the door and was amazing. She showed us to our rooms, upgraded us to breakfast, and rearranged the rooms so our group could share them as we wanted. She also showed us the downstairs bar, pool and darts room. We brought our own drinks and had a blast after the rave.

The rooms were huge and clean, and the people were wonderful. Donna was incredible. After asking why I was there, she showed me around the whole complex. I said I was in town for the Liverpool match, and she took me straight to their amazing bar, covered floor to ceiling in Liverpool memorabilia. I’d booked a single room since I was travelling alone, but got upgraded when I arrived. It’s a 20-30 minute walk from the stadium, so a great spot for an Anfield visit. It’s a little far from the city centre, but an Uber only cost me £6, which I thought was brilliant. I’ll definitely book again next time I’m at Anfield. Couldn’t fault the place or the people. Thanks for a wonderful stay ❤️

I want to be fair. The staff were nice and tried to help, and there’s off-street parking that’s brightly lit with a night clerk keeping watch. It’s not too far from attractions, with an Uber costing about £12 each way. But the property is run down and dirty. Our room was dirty, the linens weren’t clean, and the mattress reeked of vomit. The area is known for prostitution. I can’t recommend this guest house.

A great social area downstairs, and it’s fine to bring your own booze. You can help yourself to tea, toast and cereal, with plenty of bread, milk, cereal and yogurt in the fridge. Tea and coffee are available 24/7 in proper mugs. Local people run this good budget guesthouse, and the reused furniture is functional and environmentally friendly.

What a great find. The guesthouse is a short taxi or bus ride from Liverpool city centre, about 10-15 minutes. The staff were helpful and made it feel very homely. When I arrived, they upgraded my room for free and included breakfast too. I couldn’t recommend it more. 5/5.
