Barnham Broom Hotel

The warm, fluffy scones came out when we were ready for them, and the little sand timer made it easy to brew the tea just how we liked it. We couldn't finish everything, but they offered us a box for the leftovers. We had afternoon tea in the Valley Bar at Barnham Broom, looking out over the golf course and countryside. It was a relaxed setting, and the food was delicious. They took our dietary needs seriously, with plenty of care put into the dairy-free options. The receptionist greeted us warmly, and Amara was an attentive, efficient waitress. Her almond latte was better than most non-dairy ones I've tried.

The staff in The Brasserie were friendly and accommodating throughout our weekend, and deserve a mention. We found the hotel clean and well looked after, with food that was clearly high quality. The health and fitness centre had plenty of equipment, and the pool and sauna area was clean and maintained too.

The afternoon tea was good, and the spa team made my husband's birthday day out feel special. Claire and Eva gave wonderful treatments, and all the ladies were superb with their customer service.

The bed was divine, and we ate really well throughout our stay. I had a lovely, relaxed weekend spa break with my mum. The treatment was amazing, and the hotel had a chilled, festive feel. We were lucky enough to be there on the first day of the festive afternoon tea. Thanks for such a nice weekend. We hope to come back next year.
