The evening burger was generous and well seasoned, and the cooked breakfast was hearty and very good. Service was warm and welcoming throughout. The room was nice, with a very comfortable bed and plenty of tea and coffee. Yorkshire Tea is always a bonus, Premier Inn take note, and the almond milk was a thoughtful touch, even though I’m fine with UHT. Recommended.

The roast dinner was absolutely amazing. We were a table of seven and had everything we could possibly want. I was so full that, for the first time in my life, I didn’t order dessert. I did get a bite of someone else’s, though, and it was delightful!

The food was delicious, easily worth five stars, and the young women serving us were pleasant. The venue was clean and bright. We were there with friends for Sunday lunch to celebrate a birthday, but after only an hour and 15 minutes they asked us to move because the next party needed our table. That interruption meant we couldn’t enjoy dessert and finish our wine. It was disappointing, though we would return. Rant over...

There were six of us for Sunday lunch, and we all enjoyed it. My pork was delicious, and my friends’ beef was just as good. The fresh vegetables were cooked nicely too. Friendly staff, and we’ll certainly return.

A good choice in a quiet area. My stay was short and comfortable, and the room was simple but nicely done, just as described. The staff were very friendly and kindly put together a breakfast bag because I had to leave very early. I really appreciated the excellent tea and coffee facilities in the room. I didn’t eat in the restaurant, though it looked good, and the Greene King beer I had was well kept.
