W12 Rooms

The staff were really friendly, and the bathroom was clean and spacious. The location is hard to beat, about a minute from Shep Bush Central Line Station and two minutes from Westfield Mall, with plenty of good shops, bars, and restaurants close by. The rest of the room was a letdown. The sheets, towels, and pillows were clean, but there were fingerprints on the glass and surfaces and odd stains all over. The mattress was soft and lumpy, and the room had a sharp toilet-block smell that stung my eyes. They call it a four-star hotel, though it felt more like 4/10. If smudgy, noisy rooms and a mattress that seems heavily used won't bother you, you could book here.

The bathroom was great, and the room had everything I needed for my solo London trip, even if it was basic. The Tube is right next door, and the staff were courteous and really helpful. I was very happy with my stay and would come back.

The location made getting around easy, just 30 seconds from Shepherds Bush Tube Station and a few minutes on foot from Westfield. It is a busy street, so there can be noise, but we were out a lot and didn’t mind. Our room and bathroom were both a good size, with shower gel and body lotion provided. There was also a mini fridge with free water and tea and coffee supplies, plus fresh towels every day. The windows gave us good ventilation, and it never felt too warm. The staff were friendly at check-in and always greeted us when we passed. We had a great stay.

The scaffolding is temporary and didn’t affect our stay, so I don’t understand what the fuss is about. The rooms are fairly small, but for the price and the area, I can’t complain. The place was extremely clean, and my first impression walking in was great: bright, clean, and well looked after. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. If I’m in the area again, I’ll stay here.
