Elaine's beautiful guesthouse was a lovely, comfortable place to stay last night. We booked at the very last minute but got a warm welcome and were shown to a stunning room, with a lovely view, moulded ceilings and gorgeous period features. There were yummy Tea Cakes and a wee Dram for us adults, too. In the morning, we had a fresh, delicious and hearty homemade breakfast. Thanks for a wonderful stay ❤️

A handy choice before our 11:30 sailing. The room was clean and modern, the service was good, and the staff were personable and helpful. Breakfast was quality, and they’d left a dram of whiskey in a small decanter in the room, a nice wee Scottish touch.

Elaine was extraordinarily helpful. After checkout, she even gave me a lift to the train station. The room was lovely and just right, the accommodations were great, and breakfast was even better. 💖

My room was on the small side, but had all I needed: tea-making facilities, a fridge, fresh milk and water. The ensuite shower was very welcome, and parking was easy in the free car park right outside the guesthouse. Shops and restaurants are nearby.
