The location is very central, close to the town centre, and Shona and Billy made us feel at home. We were touched by how carefully everything had been thought through. Our room and the cleanliness were perfect, and breakfast was personalised, with the hosts happy to accommodate different dietary choices. I can’t thank them enough. Highly recommend it.

We had a great stay, and we’ll see you next year. The breakfast was superb, the place was clean, and the finishing touches were lovely. Billy and Shona were wonderful hosts and nothing was too much trouble. It’s in a good location. Thank you!

I was away for a week doing sight work, and this was my favourite place from a one-night stay. Shona and Billy made me a brilliant breakfast in the morning. No faults found. I’ll stay here again next time I’m down. Well done!

Billy and Shona looked after us so well, and their welcome made up for the chilly March weather. Our three-night stay at Abingdon House was lovely. The room was warm and spotless, the bed very comfortable, and it had everything we needed, including fresh milk in a mini fridge and bathroom toiletries. Breakfast had plenty of choice, and the food was top quality, cooked and presented beautifully.
