I was only here for one night, but it turned out to be perfect. Check-in was smooth, even though it was self check-in with someone guiding me over the phone. The room was warm, clean and nice, and breakfast was good. The chef is a lovely guy. I was especially happy to find Netflix on the TV ☺️ Thanks for a nice stay.

The room was lovely, large and very clean, and the location is great, close to the high street. Breakfast had a good self-service selection, with eggs available to order. The bed was firm. When we arrived on a cold night, the bathroom window was wide open and the central heating was off, so we used the small electric heater provided.

The staff were lovely and very helpful to a techno idiot like me, especially since the hotel uses self-registration. I only stayed a night and was very impressed. Room 5 on the 2 nd floor was spotless and had a small fridge, microwave, plates and utensils, plus a large comfortable bed, plenty of pillows and a big shower. There wasn’t a bath in that room. It was quiet inside, with no hallway noise, though the birds outside at 6 am were a little annoying. The windows could use double glazing. One other small suggestion: some frosted lines on the shower glass would help. It was so clean I nearly walked into it.

The room was spotless, which matters a lot to me, and it was tidy too. Self-service entry was straightforward. There was a microwave and fridge with cups and plates, and enough hanging space for a couple of nights. The TV was quite small if you’re sitting on the bed, with only one armchair, though there were two chairs at the table. There’s an ironing board in the corridor. Breakfast had a good range, but on weekdays it finishes at 9am. There are a few parking spaces on a first-come basis, plus local car parks nearby. I’d recommend it and would visit again if I’m in the area.

We had just one night here, and it was great. The hotel is centrally located, with plenty of restaurants, Tesco and other shops within walking distance. Our room was large and clean, the bed very comfortable, and breakfast was freshly cooked and really good. Parking is free. I’d definitely recommend it and would be happy to stay longer.
