Boca Inn

The location right on Federal hwy was convenient, and self parking was a plus. The mini fridge and A/C worked very well, though the A/C gave off an odor that a little fabreeze could fix. The TV only gets 480 quality since there's no HDMI cable. My key card failed several times and had to be replaced, and I was woken up repeatedly on days I'd paid for, with staff asking if I was checking out. For the price, it serves a purpose.

The lobby smelled like pee as soon as we walked in, and the staff were rude, disrespectful, and extremely unprofessional. We booked a room with two beds for four people, then were told only two people could stay, one per bed, unless we paid $30 for each extra person. Total scam. It's an old, dirty, poorly managed place. The other reviews make it seem like a pattern. Do not stay here. This place should be shut down.

The whole stay felt unsafe and unwelcoming. Two older staff members who lived in rooms on the 2nd floor stared at my mom while she was in the pool, which made her very uncomfortable. After we'd checked out, I came back the next day to swim, but they forcefully removed me because I was "no longer a guest". Our room had a huge hole in the wall, and the tiny bathroom had no sink or soap. We paid $160, which was 30 dollars more than they had said over the phone and online. It wasn't worth it.

The new management at Boca Inn made for a great stay last night. The service felt warm and attentive, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well looked after. It seems the new team has raised the hospitality standard and makes guests feel cared for. Punjab Indian Restaurant is just nearby, so I had a delicious dinner there with authentic flavors that went perfectly with the stay. Boca Inn is a gem for its accommodation and easy access to great Indian food. I'll definitely come back!
