The only good thing was the Wi-Fi. From the start, getting in was difficult because the front door was locked, and when we called, no one answered. Inside, the room smelled, the sink was cracked, the carpet was dirty, the fridge was old, cracked, and didn’t work. Half the outlets were dead. We had to beg for an extension cord before the fridge would work. The TV looked like it was from 1847 and didn’t work either. After our first night away, we came back to a room that hadn’t been cleaned: no trash taken out and no bed made. When we asked for housekeeping, they threw towels at us. The room doors and bathroom doors don’t close properly, there’s never anyone around, and customer service is horrible. The building seems to be falling apart inside and out. If this is your last option, cancel your whole trip. It’s not worth $400 or the hassle of booking. Worst purchase, money down the drain.

The whole hotel smelled like a certain recreational herb, especially around the lobby. My brother and I slept on top of the blankets and used our towels as pillows because the room was so gross. The first room had been empty so long that brown water came out of the taps. The rude owner said to let it run and it should be fine. I told him several times that wasn’t good enough, and he moved us to another room. The bed was made and the toiletries had been replaced, but the room clearly hadn’t been cleaned after the last party. There was female hair all over the pillows, though we had no women with us, and a beer can sitting in plain sight beside the bed. This place is disgusting. If you have ANY OTHER OPTION for lodging during your visit, take it. You’ll definitely have a better experience.

7/11/15: We ended up here on a last-minute trip to Laughlin because the internet said all the other rooms were booked. I call bullshit. We felt forced into this disgusting, low-budget-ass hotel. There were no cars, noise, or people when we arrived. It was quaint and creepy, like the Bates Motel, and my kids and husband joked we’d be in the next horror film. The creepy man at the front desk was the only person we saw. When we went into the room, the AC was blasting, which was the one bright spot. We asked for extra towels so we could use the pool, but were told there were none. I’d also paid an extra $10 for an unplanned adult who joined us. The bathroom had signs of unfinished or Mickey Mouse repairs, dust, signs of leaks, dirty, unmopped floors, and a few drops of someone’s blood. I went to complain, but the creepy man who checked us in was gone. After a few hours in Laughlin, we returned to find the main door wide open, with no one around. There were a billion ants all over the fridge and dresser. I wanted another room, worried my kids, husband, or I might get sick or have other bugs crawling on us, but again there was nobody at the front desk. A note said to check in at Travelers Inn next door, which was inconvenient. I tried calling and got no answer. We gave up, cleaned what we could, and tried to sleep. No luck. I was too creeped out, so I stayed awake with mace and a small knife, with the door locked and chained. In the morning, we couldn’t wait to leave. My husband asked again for the towels we never got, and was denied once more. Then they gave us two half rolls of toilet paper, as if that would dry us off. At checkout there was still nobody at the desk. A sign and an ice bucket told us to leave our keys. I will never stay here again or recommend this horrible hotel.

The AC doesn’t work, and the water stays warm no matter where you set it. The fridge doesn’t work either. At least the ice is free, except the ice machine is broken! Just flushed $125 down the toilet. We’ll probably give up and sleep in the car.

The hotel is horrible and everything is outdated. Nobody was at the front desk when my key card quit working, an hour before checkout. I had to go to the hotel next door and tell a girl there. She said she’d meet me, and she did, 45 minutes later. I don’t recommend staying here.
