Clean rooms, comfortable night’s sleep, and the staff were really friendly. Very affordable too. I recommend them.

We’ve stayed twice this summer, just for short visits, and both times the place was a pleasant surprise for what we paid. The owners are friendly, easy to talk to, and accommodating. The rooms have been very clean, the view is great, and the beach and park are only a short walk away. My family had a ton of fun here, and I’m already looking forward to coming back.

The bathroom walls had visible mold, and within three hours of checking in and getting dinner I was struggling to breathe. After we inspected the room, we packed up and left. At the desk, the man said he’d refund the room but didn’t know how, so it would have to wait until the next day. He wrote down my card number and said he’d handle it. The next day, I saw two charges from the motel. I waited to see if they’d disappear, but they didn’t. When I called to ask for a receipt and about the duplicate charges, the woman at the counter argued that there weren’t two and that they’d already refunded me. The refund appeared on my account today, but only for one of the two charges. I called back, and she argued again, insisting they hadn’t run my card twice even though my credit card statement shows both charges.

It was a little confusing to find this motel. Our larger corner room was very outdated and needs work. There were two switches just inside the door, but neither turned on an inside light. Both controlled the front porch light. The dresser was missing a drawer, and the switch in one of the rooms didn’t turn its light on at all.
