A clean, quiet, cozy place with very friendly staff. Great for a stop while passing through.

For what we paid, it was a clean, decent place to stay. I didn’t see any bugs, the parking area was well lit, and we had no security worries. The new owner, who renovated the hotel, came around to check whether we needed anything. The A/C and heat worked, as did the TV, which had a good number of channels. There were thick, nice pillows, and after working all day, we slept pretty well, even though the beds were hard. The water only got lukewarm. The pool has been covered and filled. There are only two hotels in Camden, and I’d pick this one again. A grille/bar next door serves burgers and steaks, and there’s a Mexican restaurant across the street. Just don’t expect a three-star-or-better hotel, luxurious linens, or high-quality towels. You aren’t paying for those, so I didn’t expect them.

The check-in was quick and smooth, and we were greeted warmly. Our room was very clean!

The towels and bedding were soiled, and the rooms are awful. As soon as I got my key and went inside, I asked for a refund, but was told there were no refunds. This place is a trap and should be avoided at all costs. It shouldn’t have a license to operate as a hotel in any state or city. Read the owner’s comments and proceed with caution. I’d suggest spending less on cameras and buying towels and linens instead. This is hospitality, not security.

The rooms are nicer than they’ve been in a while, but I feel the owner is just money hungry. The rates aren’t set, and he charges based on how many people are in a room. I also found the cameras on the room doors a little disturbing. I understand they’re a safety measure, but it still felt weird, and I wondered if he had cameras in the rooms. I only stayed because the other motel was booked and we were trying to stay safe from the storm. $105.00 for one night is a lot when there’s no breakfast or anything. Just my opinion.
