Hotel Macomber

The ocean-view room made our stay brilliant. It's an adults-only place, clean and cozy, with a relaxed feel, antique charm, and a distinctive elegance. We liked that the staff were friendly when needed without being overly cheery or intrusive. Union Park dining room is a fabulous restaurant, and the hotel discount token is worth using. Bagel Time was so-so, but everything is within walking distance: it's right across from the beach and in the middle of what you'd want to explore in Cape May. And yes, it's definitely haunted!

My family and I come every summer, and we always stay here. It's our Cape May spot, and we don't go anywhere else. The historic hotel is beautiful and very clean, and the staff work hard to make you feel at home and pampered. Cezanne and the rest of the team are especially sweet and accommodating, going above and beyond to make the stay feel blissful. The location is the best in CM, right in the center of everything on Beach Avenue and directly across the street from the beach. Some rooms face the beachfront, and a few have decks looking out at it. You can walk out the door and reach the beach by crossing the street. Guest parking is available, and food, stores, and the center are a short walk away. Bagel Time and Union Park are downstairs, with delicious food at both. Love it here, and I can't recommend it enough.

Ce’zann was really helpful and friendly. The rooms were nice, the location was great, and the customer service was wonderful.

The location was great, and the place was clean with nice decor, though it felt dated rather than fancy. I liked the no-children policy. There's no elevator, so you need to be able to manage the stairs. At check-in, staff didn't explain anything about the hotel or area, and they didn't greet us coming or going.
