Hotel Richemont

We’ve stayed here twice in the last two months and have really enjoyed it each time. The rooms are great, the staff welcoming, and the drinks and snacks at the restaurant were good. We haven’t tried a meal there, though it always looks busy in the evenings. The location just off King Street is great too. We’ve stayed at nearly all the downtown hotels over the past ten years and would recommend Hotel Richmont.

I’m just finishing my stay, and the service has been phenomenal. Everyone I met, from valet to the front desk and housekeeping, made me feel welcome and showed real care for the guest experience. I also had a very good dinner at The Two Bit Club and would gladly return. I sat at the bar, where the staff were friendly and polite, and they brought me a complimentary Yellowtail Crudo appetizer. It was scrumptious. Thanks to Vitus for a wonderful dinner.

The Two Bit Club was a standout, and those short ribs will stay on my mind for months. The room was spacious and just steps from shops and restaurants. I started the day with the in-room Nespresso and fresh croissants, and enjoyed chatting with Aladin in the lobby. Latonya had great suggestions for places around town, and Isabelle told me about the property’s history. Such a great stay.

When I wasn’t feeling well at checkout, I told the staff I’d rest on the patio, and they brought me tea and crackers. That kind of service really stood out. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the hotel has a lovely downtown Charleston entrance with a covered little patio. The Two Bit Club attached to the hotel is also a nice spot for a light dinner and a cocktail.
