Tremaine went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience every day. He genuinely cared and gave us helpful tips for visiting the Charlotte area. Quinton got us a great room on the top floor, Hannah was kind and helpful when we checked in late, and Terrell did a great job restocking breakfast every morning. My wife, our 8 year old son, and I stayed five nights in April 2026 while visiting uptown Charlotte, Nascar Hall of Fame, Carowinds, and the North Carolina Train Museum. The room was super clean, as my wife always checks, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel still looks brand new, even though it was built less than five years ago. Breakfast had more than the usual choices, including two waffle makers, scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh bananas, oranges and apples, plus previously frozen mangoes and strawberries that tasted great on waffles and yogurt. I'm an IHG platinum elite member and have been for over 20 years, and I don't understand the bad reviews. We rank this among the top 1% of our many IHG stays over those 20-plus years for room quality, outstanding breakfast, and customer service. When we're back for Carowinds, or stop overnight on our annual drive from our home base in Pittsburgh to our Florida beach vacation, this is the only hotel we'll stay at in the Charlotte area. Thank you, Tremaine and team, for a 5 star experience!

My husband booked this for our 5th anniversary, and it was a wonderful stay. It was so quiet, comfortable, and relaxing that we ordered in instead of going to our dinner reservation. We enjoyed breakfast the next morning before heading home. This location will be at the top of my list next time we get away.

The rooms and hotel were clean, but the parking layout isn't great, and the luggage carts are small and scarce. Service was lacking too, with no complimentary water for club members. The elevators don't seem to have door sensors. One door hit me while closing, nearly knocked me down, and cut my hand. Happy hour was OK and the food was good, but the beer ran out before 7 pm.

The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and I loved having a kitchen. The pool looked inviting too. My time at Staybridge Suite was AMAZING, 10/10 recommend! After a long delayed flight, Richard answered my call and welcomed me with open arms for an early check-in. Thank you, Richard. Donna was welcoming as well, always greeting me with a smile no matter how many times I approached her.

Ms.Donna made my three-night stay a great experience. When I called to confirm my reservation, she went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and welcomed. She worked with me on an early check-in and a room upgrade, then made check-in simple and inviting. She was delightful to talk to and handled all my requests with care and efficiency. If you're deciding where to stay, ask for Ms.Donna. I'm very grateful for her professionalism and hospitality.
