The staff and atmosphere would bring me back to Hotel Clemons. Chloe at the front desk was the best, making me feel welcome as a solo traveler and graciously answering my questions. The industrial, modern vibe was cool, and I liked the unconventional lobby with seating, a pool table, ping pong, and foosball. The location was great too, within walking distance of restaurants and cute downtown shops. My bed was comfy, and the 2 br/2 ba room had a spacious common area. I worked remotely during the day and visited relatives in the evenings. I’d definitely stay again and recommend it for the staff, location, and atmosphere.

We came to see my daughter, and Hotel Clemons gave us the relaxing, easy stay we wanted. It felt like having our own apartment, which made the visit cozy and comfortable. The rooms were roomy enough to unwind, and my daughter could hang out with us comfortably. I loved the lobby coffee shop and spent my mornings working on my computer there. It became a nice routine, with a calm, welcoming atmosphere. There was so much within walking distance that we hardly needed the car. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, and the bath products smelled wonderful, a small detail that made the stay feel special. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to visit family, and we’d absolutely return.

I spent four weeks here while dealing with a water problem at home. Being displaced was stressful, and I also had to think about my pets, but they were allowed to stay with me. The apartment-style room felt more like home than a hotel, with a fully equipped kitchen and cute, funky decor. My two-bedroom, two-full-bath setup was spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. The place had a cool, clean, trendy feel. Downtown location made it easy to get around, and there’s a restaurant on-site as well as a Peet’s Coffee, which was a nice extra. I enjoyed the mountain view from my room, and it was surprisingly quiet most of the time. The bedrooms could use a little more light. Staff were all friendly and quick to help with anything I needed. I couldn’t have picked a better place, and I’d highly recommend it for either a short or long stay.

We felt safe here, even with the louder cars and nightlife downtown on Friday through Sunday. After hours, the lobby closes and you need a code to enter from the side. The front desk was polite, and extra toiletries arrived quickly when we asked. Cleanliness and safety matter most to me, and Hotel Clemons got those right. Our one-bedroom, one-bath apartment had plenty of space, a queen bed, a full fridge, and a microwave. It was airy and exceptionally clean, with disinfectant available. There was a hookup for a washer and dryer, but no machines. Sleepyhead Coffee was less than a block away and great in the mornings. The bar downstairs had decent food, and the lobby had pool, foosball, and table tennis. Bars, restaurants, and the aquarium were only minutes away. We parked at Citi Parking, just steps away. Overnight parking was $25, so keep that in mind. The town seemed quiet on Wednesday, but Friday brought more noise. We could hear other families through the exposed pipes, which I assume are part of the artsy look, and traffic and nightlife were louder over the Valentine Holiday Weekend. There are two large windows, but no blackout curtains. The shower water heater is small, too. I don't think you can shower longer than 7-10 minutes before the water gets cold. For the price, we were pleased and would consider coming back. They also allow pets for a fee.

We went to Easy Bistro oyster bar across the street and really enjoyed it. There are several other good restaurants just a 2-3 minute walk away, and a parking garage across the street too. The hotel is an easy drive from the interstate, and it took about 10 minutes to walk to Memorial Auditorium for the show we came to see. The loft-style building has apartment rooms with comfortable beds and furniture, stainless steel kitchen appliances, and soft-close cabinets. They seem to have thought of everything. I only stayed one night, but this place was delightful for doing things around downtown Chattanooga. I highly recommend it.
