Quality Inn

We ended up adding another night after I started feeling unwell during my pregnancy. The woman at the desk helped us arrange it and gave us a great deal. She was amazing, and all the employees were really nice. Booking was easy and check-in was quick. Our room was very clean, extremely nice, and had a comfy bed. We enjoyed the clean pool, and breakfast was really good. The girls there do a great job. Thanks for the great service, we’ll be back.

The staff were amazing, very polite and nice, and breakfast was good. But the place needs some upgrading. The fridge and microwave didn’t work until my husband figured out they were plugged in wrong, and there were too many extension cords. The pool was closed, even though it was the end of June. We’d requested a nonsmoking room with a king bed, but people were smoking outside our room and the smell came through the AC.

Mrs Stacy, the breakfast ambassador, was so friendly and helpful. She chatted with us about our travels, and a manager also came by to ask how the stay was. It felt like they cared. The hot breakfast was great, and the showers had really nice hot water. The place is old but not falling apart, and it was generally clean and well maintained, though there was a carpet stain, a toilet handle you had to hold down to flush, a bent lamp cord, and loose outlets that let plugs droop. The pool was closed in the first week of June. We had to call the desk about pot smell coming into our room from nearby rooms, and the neighborhood didn’t seem very good. When we arrived at 9, the front doors were already locked and the desk worker had to buzz us in.

The staff made this one of our best hotel stays in a long time. The manager seemed to work hard to keep the property safe and clean and guests happy. For the first time ever at a Choice hotel, the desk attendant extended checkout to noon without making me feel awkward about asking. The young man at breakfast was sweet and helped me carry enough food back to my room. An older gentleman also helped us with our door, even though the problem was our fault. The rooms are older but clean. We had a couple of minor issues, and staff handled them even at 11 at night. Thanks to everyone at Quality Inn for making our stay so good.
