The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the location worked well just off the highway on our way to tampa. Most of the staff we dealt with had poor attitudes, though the woman at the counter when we checked out the next morning was very sweet. Breakfast was pretty gross: burnt sausage and eggs. The man in charge kept giving people the side eye and seemed unhappy to be there. His attitude made me want to spend as little time downstairs as possible, so we went back to eat in the room. It’s a decent place if you don’t expect to interact much with the staff.

I’d seen some bad reviews and was a little skeptical, but we were really pleased. The beds were super comfortable, and the hotel seemed very clean. There was a bit of interstate noise, but it was still quieter than other hotels I’ve stayed in. We’ll definitely come back.

I’ve just checked in, and the room is spotless with fresh linen. The facility is better than I expected, and the desk service was spectacular. Yes, it’s "South Side," where good weather brings out some interesting characters. Still, this Comfort Inn is a credit to the brand, and I’m thoroughly satisfied as a guest.

My room was a good size and everything seemed in order, though I did wonder about the cleaning when I found several strands of hair in the bathroom on arrival 😳. The hotel is near downtown, and the area was quiet. I didn’t get to try breakfast, but the coffee was good.

The hotel itself is great: clean rooms, mostly friendly staff, and a fine breakfast. The guy working breakfast, though, has earned his internet infamy. He grumbled nonstop, shoved people out of his way, and wore a scowl like his momma had used a pickle for his pacifier.
