For someone coming from out of town for two weeks of training twice a year, the morning food is great, the rooms are clean, and I’d gladly stay again. I really like the suite setup, since I need to cook during a long stay. The kitchen area is fully stocked, and staff will provide more if you need it. The laundry facilities are useful too, and the pool and barbecue area look like they’d be nice in fair weather. Staff took care of every issue I raised during my first week within 24 hours. Shout-out especially to the woman who checked me in, and to the people making breakfast each morning. I do have some complaints. The toilet is loose, and I’m 190 pounds, so it’s obvious it isn’t secured properly. The bathroom door is either all the way open or shut. During my first room service, I swung the entry door into it so hard I thought someone was inside. The beds are a farce too. If that’s a queen, color me a rainbow. I sleep on one at home, and this is a full. Corporate should be honest with guests: queen equals full. Near the end of my two-week stay, I also noticed the AC is loud and rattles badly while running. It can wake you up and keep you awake until it stops. Something else, which I couldn’t identify, shakes the whole room for a few minutes at random times during the day. It feels like a low-level earthquake, and it isn’t the AC. I found mold in the shower that had clearly been there my whole stay, so housekeeping could do better. I adjusted my ratings for the room and service.
