This place is a dump, and I don't know why it's listed as a 3 star. Spend another $10 and you can get a room that's ten times better somewhere else. We couldn't find it at first because there were no outside lights or sign on the building. One building is missing after what was described as an arson fire to defraud the insurance company. The sofa, blankets, and sheets had all kinds of brown stains. I couldn't sleep in those sheets, so I put a tarp on the bed and used my own sheets. The heater in our room didn't work either.

Wish we'd read the reviews before booking. From the road the place looked abandoned, and going around back showed a run-down hotel with half the property closed. We walked through a dark, smelly corridor to our spacious room, which had old, worn furniture, stained sheets and towels, and one towel that was just an old rag. The hotel's open Wi-Fi didn't work. We didn't shower because I didn't want to risk anything from the dirty towels, and they only gave us one. Seeing the room put us off breakfast too. It felt like the sort of place people go to sell drugs. Pay an extra $5-10 and stay at the hotel down the road.

We decided to cancel and head for a Hilton after seeing animal control remove a critter from the lobby. Getting there, the hotel looked closed, and as we drove around we saw mattresses propped against the building, old tires piled up, and doors off their hinges. The one upside was that we could cancel at 3 pm on the day we were meant to stay without a fee.

I've never seen a motel this bad. We nearly had to kick the door in to get it open, and it didn't work properly. The place was filthy, so I had to go buy bleach spray and wipes. All the bulbs were gone except for a lamp with a fist-shaped hole in its shade. The TV only worked after someone came down from the lobby and turned it on with a screwdriver, and there was no remote. The bed was broken, with the head tilted toward the floor. There weren't even any tissues or cups. This place should be shut down. I think it violates numerous health codes. I took several pictures, and we had better get our money back. I thought places like this only existed on TV. The worst. I wish I could give it -5 stars. DO NOT STAY HERE!

The proprietor was really nice, and once we got inside we were pleasantly surprised by how roomy the room was. It was mostly clean, though the phone and walls needed cleaning. The chairs need replacing too. I sat in one and it was basically a bucket seat. First impressions weren't good: only one of the three buildings is in use, while the other two have been a multi-year remodeling project, and the parking makes the place look like it's seen better days. Breakfast was pretty limited, just cereal, toast, and coffee.
