Travelodge by Wyndham Cheyenne

After our toddler had been walking on the carpet for about 15 minutes, her feet were black. Then I found two little bugs crawling around while taking her to the sink to wash up. My husband and I had only booked one night with our 18-month-old, but we left and asked the receptionist for a refund. She said her manager would be there in the morning. When we came back, she said he doesn’t work weekends, then claimed he’d had an emergency after my husband reminded her what she’d told us. She was nothing but a liar. A day after checkout, we also saw a random $50.00 charge on our card. Check-in had been smooth and the room seemed okay at first, but I’m absolutely disgusted. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Go somewhere else.

The staff here are lovely, and it’s been quiet and nice for recovering after a big journey. The diner next door is good, though a bit pricey. We’re grateful to have a room for a couple of days, especially with a great location for getting around and seeing town. We arrived around 2:30 am after traveling more than 2,800 miles with our family, and at first the booking system had apparently booted us and removed our reservation. I nearly lost over 470 dollars. The woman at the desk fixed everything after about 30 minutes, and the room cleaner got us in quickly. The room is very nice, with clean, made-up beds. It was a huge scare, but I’m thankful to the ladies who sorted it out. The beds are a little stiff and there aren’t many comfy pillows, but it’s okay. Thanks again for getting everything worked out and having us here. We really appreciate it 🙏

The room was bright and spotless, the beds were so comfortable, and everything I needed was within walking distance. Sibel and Jennifer were the reason I’d go out of my way to stay here again if I returned. My car broke down nearby, and booking.com made a big mistake with my reservation when I checked in. Jennifer went out of her way to fix it and was incredibly kind and helpful. Then Sibel kept checking on me and helped in so many ways. Big thanks to them for going above and beyond during my stay!

The room was clean and just what we expected. The man who checked us in was friendly and helpful with our basic concerns. Still, the $295 nightly rate was grossly inflated because of the rodeo.
