La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Clovis CA

It was a great stay, and I'd come back. The location was near Old Clovis and good restaurants. My room was very clean, with a big shower and good water pressure, and the mattress and bedding were comfortable. Breakfast was complimentary and better than I expected.

The room was easy to keep at a comfortable temperature and was very clean. It seemed like tourists had come from all over. For a quieter stay, ask for the top, third floor. The person above me stomped nonstop. The receptionist said they couldn't move me, but said they'd call them. After another round of excessive stomping, it finally stopped and I slept soundly.

What made it five stars for me was the woman who welcomed us. The room was quiet and clean, nicely decorated, and easy to move around in, and the price was right. I skipped breakfast, but the coffee was swell. I give five stars when a place delivers what it advertises. Staff who make eye contact and seem glad to see you, like they actually care, push it to five. If that interaction isn't there, even when everything else is five stars, I'll probably give three.

We came for my best friend's wedding, and this has been a really nice stay so far. The room is clean and nice, the customer service is really good, and the location is perfect, about 15 minutes from the hall. Anny was kind and accommodating, made sure we were comfortable, and gave us recommendations. Since it's our first time in this city, it was easy to ask her questions. The rest of the staff were kind too.
