Quality Inn Atlanta Airport - Central

It’s not the fanciest hotel, but the cleanliness and hospitality are top tier. I’ve stayed several times, and I keep coming back largely because everyone is so kind, welcoming, and ready to help. They make me feel comfortable and appreciated. The rooms have always been very clean when I’ve visited, and I’ve never seen bugs. Housekeeping does a great job and checks in each morning to see if you’re all set or need anything. I really appreciate that level of care.

There was no hot water in the shower, so I couldn’t bathe properly, and the elevator was out of order, which was a real hassle. The TV had only about six channels. On top of that, the room ran out of toilet paper; I called the front desk and was told someone would bring more, but nobody came. The room was infested with roaches, which is completely unacceptable. The property seems poorly maintained and isn’t worth the money. This was one of my worst hotel stays, and I won’t be back or recommend it.

The bathroom was awful. The toilet rim under the seat had pee stains, there was a weird gross spot on the door, and there was no soap by the sink. The towels were dirty too: one had hair, another had crusty stuff on it, and both hand towels were stained. I was already wet and undressed when I noticed, so I had to use one of the hand towels. The shower started barely warm on the hottest setting and turned cold before my quick shower was done. There was even a dead cockroach outside the door. We first got a room with no TV remote and three flat pillows. We asked for more because my husband has a bad back and sleeps propped up, but they wouldn’t give us any. Then we saw a mouse and were moved to another room, which was worse. It had just two pillows, both so flat that together they weren’t like one normal pillow. I don’t even know if either room had been cleaned. The only hot breakfast was waffles, so don’t call it a hot breakfast if that’s all there is. For $50, it wasn’t a huge loss, but it added to everything else. Ten out of ten, I don’t recommend this place. Cleanliness should be expected anywhere.

The front desk told me only Choices Hotels could issue a refund. I called Choices and was told the hotel itself could have refunded me. The staff are liars and clearly don’t care anymore. We checked in for one night before our flight, and both the lobby and room smelled horrible. Three cockroaches ran out when we opened the door. There were long black hairs on the bed, towels, and in the bathroom, plus food crumbs and stained sheets. We also found bed bugs in both beds. This hotel is disgusting.
