Super 8 College Station

The worst part was being unable to cancel or change our reservation because we booked through Perks at Work. That left us stuck with a place that caused stress during a family event and disrupted our plans. My husband works for Republic Services, and we plan to bring this up with the company so the hotel can be removed from its employee lodging recommendations. We booked two nights at Super 8 by Wyndham College Station, 301 Texas Avenue, College Station, TX 77840, to attend the Games of Texas for Track & Field, where my son is coaching. He arrived one night before us and found the property in deplorable condition. The lobby and hallways smelled of urine and other unpleasant odors, and the facility did not seem clean, safe, or comfortable. The staff also came across as unwelcoming and unprofessional. It's shocking to see a hotel using the Wyndham name in this state. We expected the quality and professionalism associated with the brand, and the stay fell far short. I urge Wyndham to investigate the property and address the conditions. This reflects badly on the hotel and damages confidence in the Wyndham brand.

The rooms could use an update, but they were clean. We found the rates affordable, and they hadn't gone up for the holiday weekend. The location was great and the staff were friendly.

I found the place peaceful and comfortable, which made for a relaxing stay. The owner was especially helpful and friendly. The room was also very affordable and great value for the price.

The front desk and other staff were really nice and accommodating. Our room was comfortable and very clean. ❤️
