Check-in was very friendly, and the room was clean and well maintained. Still, the bed was well past its useful life, with a deep dip in the middle, and it was incredibly uncomfortable. The thermostat also didn’t work properly. It was set to 66, but the room became oppressively hot in the middle of the night. When we raised it with the front desk, they said the bed was fine and the room was “cool” when the engineer looked at it. They said they’d fixed the thermostat and offered to move us, but we stayed after being told it was fixed. The second night it was ridiculously hot again, so we turned the thermostat off and tried to sleep. I asked for a complimentary bottle of water, but was told my husband and I had only received one at check-in, even though we’re higher-level reward members. The shower was unpleasant too. Water pressure was low, and there was no door on the large shower, so it was very cold. Maybe it’s a design flaw. At breakfast, I watched the “chef” prepare food without gloves, wipe his nose with his hand, and then keep cooking. The dismissive response to our concerns and the poor service are why I’m writing this. This is not why I choose to stay at Marriotts. Very disappointed. They need to do better.

We had a west-facing room and got a beautiful Colorado sunset. The location was great, right off I25 with several restaurants nearby, and the room was clean. The heater was loud and clearly needed maintenance. It didn’t turn on until we were already in bed, and after about 20 minutes I changed the thermostat so it would shut off and let us sleep. At checkout, my husband mentioned it to the front desk employee, whose name I didn’t catch. He offered a discount or extra points to make it right. Thank you!

We’ll book here again. The hotel was beautiful and clean, with free parking and plenty to do within walking distance, including restaurants, Main Event, and a theater. There’s outdoor seating around a fire pit with a mountain view. No pool, though. There isn’t a continental breakfast, but you can order breakfast in the lobby. Ours was fresh and really good.

The location was ideal, with restaurants, a brewery, a movie theater, and a fun center all within walking distance. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and both the rooms and the rest of the facility were neat and clean. I had a great stay and will be back.

We booked because the hotel advertised a bar and bistro. At check-in, they said the bar would open at 5 pm but weren’t sure about the bistro. Neither one opened. Since it was Saturday night and both nearby restaurants had hour-long waits, it made for a pretty bad evening.
